SALFORD CITY COLLEGE OPEN EVENING AT RYDERS FARM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

Description Are you interested in a career working with horses? Then come along and find out more at our OPEN EVENING. Salford City College offer courses at all levels - plus you can train for the British Horse Society examinations as part of your course.
*Level 1 Land and Environment (Animal & Equine combined)

*Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management.

Description An Introduction to Jumping or A Confidence-Building Afternoon

Whether you have never jumped - or want to go back to the beginning and improve your confidence - then this is the course for you.
Forego the Cadbury Eggs and Eggscell at your jumping!!!
Cost 22.00 per rider

BEGINNERS JUMPING #2

10.30 - 12 noon
Description Due to high demand and the afternoon course becoming over-subscribed - this additional session will take place in the morning from 10.30 until 12noon! With a similar format of introducing those who have never jumped to the basic of going over the sticks or a confidence booster for those who feel they would like to start again from scratch. Please note that this course is filling rapidly - again - so don't delay and phone or visit us as soon as poss.
Cost 22 per rider

EASTER PONY CLUB CAMP

Date and Time Monday April 14th - Tuesday April 15th - Wednesday April 16th
Description A fun-filled week of activities, riding, games, horse knowledge, stable managment, competitions and pony care finishing with your very own show on the last day ......... all with chocolate!!!
Cost 95 for all three days or 35 per day (10 deposit required)

BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY STAGE ONE EXAMINATION

Date and Time MONDAY MAY 19th 2014
Description Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre will be hosting the British Horse Society Horse Knowledge Care and Riding Stage 1 examination. This examination is the first step on the professional ladder and this qualification will provide you with the competencies to apply basic principles of horse care. Working under supervision, you will have basic knowledge and practice of looking after a well-mannered horse in the stable and at grass. You will be capable of riding an experienced horse or pony in an enclosed space. You must be at least 14 years old to take this exam.

PONY CLUB AT RYDERS FARM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

Date and Time Every Saturday Afternoon: 2.30 - 4.00pm
Description Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre is a Pony Club Centre where pony-mad young people who do not have a pony of their own can make friends with other like minded children and learn about caring for horses, stable management, mixed with activities, games and competitions. Ryders Farm encourage all those using their Pony Club Centre to join the Pony Club

As places are limited on our summer activities and training courses we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment
