SUMMER PONY CLUB CAMP

Date and Time Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August 2013
Description Start your Summer hols with a week of games, competitions, quizzes, giggles and laughs - plus ponies!
Each day will include a one hour riding or jumping lesson and lots of practical tasks mixed with fun and adventure.
Cost £110 for the whole week or £35 per day. Book at the office where a £10 deposit will be required

OWN A PONY DAYS

Date and Time Monday August 5th and Monday August 19th
9.30am - 4.30pm
Description Our famous and every-popular Own a Pony Days which means a whole day on the farm with the pony of your choice. Your job will be to muck out - groom - feed -clean tack and ride your pony as well as share secrets, kisses and the odd Polo mint! Make new friends who also want to "talk about horses" and join in the fun with quizzes and competitions.
Cost £40 per pony for the whole day or £50 for two to share (both "owners" will ride) Make sure you book early as Own a Pony Days fill up very quickly.

SHOWJUMPING AND CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING with Sarah Fitton B.H.S.I.(SM)

Date and Time Tuesday August 13th
10.30am - 12 noon
Description Working on the outdoor arena and the cross country course (weather permitting). Learn how to warm up correctly, improve your jumping position, develop that ever-important "eye for a fence" maintain your rhythm and flow, and then, jump a full course learning the differences between show jumps and cross country fences. Sarah's courses are always demanding and thought-provoking but aimed at giving you that real sense of achievement. Body Protectors Please
Cost £18 on your own horse or £22 on an RFEC horse.
Do book early to avoid disappoint as these course fill very quickly

DRESSAGE COMPETITION

Date and Time MONDAY 19TH AUGUST
4.00pm
Description Class 1 = Intro B (Walk and Trot only)
Class 2 = Prelim 12
Rosettes to sixth place.
Cost £10 on RFEC horse (includes a 20 min warm up prior to test)
£6 on own horse
Test Sheets and Entry forms available in the office.
Book the horse of your choice early as there will be a limit put on the number times any one horse may enter.

HOE DOWN

Date and Time SATURDAY AUGUST 24th - 7.30pm
Description Come along and join us in a lil ol' country Hoe Down as we head towards the end of the Summer Hols. Organised in aid of the Emile Faurie Foundation whose splendid work for inner-city children is supported by Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre. There will be a Hog Roast, Raffle, Roll the Coin, Dancing to the Fiddlesticks, a DJ, and fun fun fun. The theme will be Western and the colour will be Purple so grab your stetsons pull on your boots and head on down to the barn for a good ol' do-ce-do - see Y'all!!
Cost £15 for adult tickets - £10 for child tickets (12 years and under) to include Hog Roast
Entry will be strictly by ticket only - there will be no tickets available on the door.

PONY CLUB AT RYDERS FARM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

Date and Time Every Saturday Afternoon: 2.30 - 4.00pm
Description Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre is a Pony Club Centre where pony-mad young people who do not have a pony of their own can make friends with other like minded children and learn about caring for horses, stable management, mixed with activities, games and competitions. Ryders Farm encourage all those using their Pony Club Centre to join the Pony Club

As places are limited on our summer activities and training courses we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment
